 "For
our group of six Australians and two Kiwis, our 2011 African air safari
was to be the trip of a lifetime. Under no illusion that flying in Africa
was going to be a straightforward exercise, we set about finding ourselves
a safari company to co-ordinate the logistics. After much research, we
eventually decided on African Aero Safaris (AAS) which proved to be an
inspired choice. Familiarity with flying routes, exceptional organisation
and a true understanding of “the African way” was testament to AAS’
experience of 25 years operating in the air safari business over here. All
our group found the owner, Dave Vanderspuy, to be a particularly
approachable guy, passionate about sharing his love of flying and his
country to overseas visitors.
We gave Dave our Wish List and he put
together an outstanding safari. Quality lodges, wonderful exposure to
game, unforgettable scenery, and the making of solid friendships. Never
once did any of us ever feel we were in any danger, and we were certainly
never left to make any tricky flying decisions without their local advice.
I'd highly recommend anyone considering such a trip to contact AAS."

a superb holiday we have had! Thank you so much for your help,
encouragement and organisation. The whole trip was so exciting and
varied - the flying and learning how to use the GPS, the game drives,
wonderful accommodation, rail trip and our time here in Cape Town - the
list goes on! We both feel more confident in our flying now and the Game
Drives were superb - we'll never forget Shindi: the hippos and the
buffalos and lions.
